My private LR mechanic wants to move to synthetic oil. Shall I?
Castrol 5w30 I stick with the castro 5w30 (Thats whats on my oil cap)and change my oil every 5-6,000 miles. The stuffs cheap at Walmart. I also use K&N oil filters. The job takes less than 35 minutes and under $45.00 total job. -

LR3 jack
Pretty compact jack.... The 4 ton jack is actually not that big. It comes in a convenient hard case and it's fairly inexpensive. Under $30. Car wash on rails or 100% hand wash only?
Touchless... The touchless ones are okay for a quick wash, I usually will bring a chamois or towel with me and dry it off as soon as it comes out of the car wash. When I want it to be washed thoroughly I'll wash it at home with my power washer or get a professional detail inside and out. :)... -

Suspension Fault - Any opinions?
Drier checked I already checked the drier and beads, they were all fine. Also changed the drier cover to an aluminum one from the plastic cover. Which is prone to cracks. Suspension drops every 8-15 continuous driven miles. Never in stop and go city driving. -

differential maintenance $$
Do it yourself... Do it yourself, It cost about $20 a bottle at your local LR Dealerships. You'll need total of 2 bottles to do the front and back without rear diff locks, and 3 bottles with rear diff lock. Its easier than an oil change. If anyone's near the RI area I could help you out. Total... -

Just bought a lr3-head rest question
It's easy job. The headrest are easy to take off. It's a 10 minute job for each side. Pop off the plastic covers unscrew Torx screw slide off. I think it's a 20 or 25 Torx. -
