Real world MPG on the LR4

Getting spooked- weird stuff

Oil level not showing

Thank you very much for your reply. I didn't know that was the sensor. I think it's partially blocked by the new inspection sticker! I never got the "blocked" message again, it just won't go out of high beam. Where do you guys put the state inspection stickers? I gotta get the garage to put... -

i was driving thru some bad weather and got a warning that the sensor was blocked. Then the auto hi beam stopped working and hasn't worked since. There is nothing blocking the sensor and I've never gotten the message again. I assume the sensor is those two lens-like things where the mirror is... -

What are offset tolerances on LR4 wheels? Need wheel info
i don't really understand offset. The factory specs are 53mm. I see lots of wheels with 45mm offset. Do these work or will the tire rub or some other disaster? Are refinished OEM wheels generally ok? I use 20 inch wheels, 8.5 inch width. Frank -

Thanks very much. I feel a bit better having seen that video! I go bird shooting in the North Woods in Maine and the biggest worry on those trails is mud. Or overgrown grass that's very mushy. No rocks to climb over I have 20" wheels that should help and I'll just put my snows on before I try... -

Thank you- that's an interesting solution! I already have a set of 20-inch snows and like the big tires. You're right, there isn't a great tire selection and I'd hate to be in Podunk and need a new tire! I don't know if it's good for tires to be taken off and on rims many times. Frank -
