i have a 2013 like yours so I suppose the battery is still in relative good shape in terms of holding charge. Is there a way to disable the interior lights from lighting up when the doors are open? Not just the dome lights but the LED "mood" lights from the handles, etc. -

I also special ordered my LR4, it did take 2 months to get here but once it arrived, I was able to get a discount off of MSRP. It was a $66k truck with the options that I wanted and I got close to a 10% discount. Did you put a deposit on the truck? If not, I would look at another dealership. -

Factory roof rack wind noise

I had a 2010 LR4 and currently have a 2013 LR4 and both trucks encountered a faulty water pump at around the 30k mile range. Both times, I noticed the smell of coolant from the engine area. Obviously the repair is covered under warranty on both vehicles and while it could just be my own darn... -

Front runner slimline ii 1/2 rack
I think the noise will be about the same since the wind is being pushed down regardless if the slats are vertical or horizontal. The trick is get the air to go around or above the rack to reduce the noise. Someone else can chime in but I think the OEM rack is actually the quietest.
