HID install issue - DDM tuning HID kit
i assume this is the relay harness i need to purchase but i don't really have experience with it...any idea on how to run this? -

LR4 reliability - let's get better info
i did have to change my brake pads at around 20k miles but figure that's more of wear and tear and not really a reliability issue. It's a big and heavy car so i guess it uses a lot of brakes to stop. -

my experience so far... 2010 HSE LR4 with rear dvd and 5 camera package, current mile 31000, owned since June 2010 here are issues i've enountered: 2 of the cameras didn't work - dealer replaced harness, works perfect since dome light rattle - dealer fixed rear hatch rattle - dealer... -

HID install issue - DDM tuning HID kit
That's what I thought so I don't really understand why you'd need an additional wire especially the LR can be optioned with HID. Pretty sure the existing harness can supply the needed power. However, since i am having this issue, maybe they didn't. -

I am using the 35W kit so theoretically, it's not drawing any extra juice. For sure temp is not a factor here in SoCal. I am still puzzled however for the past couple of days, I've been leaving the lights on auto and that seem to turn the lights on with no problem. However, once i switch the... -

I am in socal the temp is around 60 when I installed so that shouldn't be an issue. HOWEVER, this is the strangest thing...when i start the car, if i leave the lights off, rev the engine for couple of seconds then turn on the lights, both lights work perfect. If i don't rev, the passenger side... -

i'll try your suggestion but i doubt temp has anything to do with it. As i stated, i swapped the ballast/bulb around and it's always the passenger side giving me issues. -

I've been using DDM's kit for other cars and it works great, however, on the LR4, it's giving me fits. The driver side works wonder but the passenger side would stay on for about a second before shutting off. I tried swapping the ballast, bulb and even swapped ballast/bulb from an old H11 kit... -
