WHAT WOULD YOU DO!? BUYING MY FIRST LR4...
If I were shopping specifically for an LR4 right now I'd patiently seek out a nice 2013 - no timing chain issues and the newest/last year of the V8. But if I were just shopping for a Rover right now I'd be looking at a '14-'15 RRS since it still has the V8 and newer everything else. -

True - odd, when you think about it. Nobody wants to buy a 19" wheel unless they NEED a 19" wheel. Seems like they'd be more expensive as singles because of that. -

I've had to replace three 20x9.5" wheels on my wife's RRS in the past two years (never had a flat tire or damaged a wheel before this car - now she apparently loves running into shit) and I've paid more... -

2012 LR4 Speaker Replacement
One in my passenger rear door was blown when I got mine, I found an OEM replacement on eBay and swapped it out. I didn't have or make any kind of walk-through on removing that door panel, it was pretty easy as I've done many door panel removals in the past. Basically just gently popping clips... -

Very high idle, 2800 RPM
Just change the fuggin battery - I've done it without doing the computer reset and doing it - absolutely no noticeable difference in battery life. You'll be fine not telling the computer you changed it. -

I'm sure the Chinese plant that stamps out the garbage Land Rover filter is much more discerning than the (likely exact same) Chinese plant that stamps out the AC Delco one. -

Parking brake fault...
Damn. I wonder where it is for it to be that hard to change. I just stopped using mine because the damn shoes would rust into place and get stuck. I'd have to rock back and forth from reverse to drive until they'd pop loose. Don't set it, it don't get stuck, LOL. -

The end links are connected to the upper control arms, not the lower. That's irrelevant information, though - once the wheel's out of the way they just unbolt on either end, easy-peasy. Yep, it'll handle itself. It's kind of awesome when I hook up my car trailer with around 700lb tongue weight and then start it up -- ass drops like crazy when I hook it, then when the engine starts it pops right back up to perfectly level. -
