Got wheels! Need tires...
Hey Joseph How are those wheels working for you? I was just at a off-road shop a few minutes ago and was looking at rims from the same brand that should fit the LR4. What's the size and offset? Thank you Axel -

That's a good price, I paid 199 for the 265/65 before installation. Came out to 245 per with install and alignment. I'm even considering downsizing to the DuraTrac in 255/55R19... Not sure yet. Found the Compos for $1,000 plus shipping (comes out to $1,450). -

This was at the exit of Rio Puerco close to Albuquerque. It was indeed pretty fat but probably happy I didn't just run it over. -
MY14 - My truck turns off when...
I had a '14 Evoque loaner that would do this as well. I assumed that it was so smart it knew when I had reached my destination ;) Kinda annoying when you need to maneuver to park in a tight spot. -
offroaders - what shoes do you wear?
I usually go barefoot and have a pair of flip-flops with me. In my trunk I got a pair of military boots (Mini-Mil from Belleville - light and not much sole) which after yesterday's encounter I might use more often. -

Seems like there's not much of a gain with the SCV6... Kinda disappointing. Let's not be mistaken I do not have anything against the SCV6 and I'm sure it's as capable as the V8 (if not more depending on the situation - yes, I'm a big fan of superchargers and turbochargers). -

What I mean is that the front tires will touch the frame horns (part of the frame designed to prevent the tire/wheels to enter the driver or passenger footwell in the event of a frontal crash mainly). These can be cut or trimmed but I haven't gotten to it at this point. -

These are a great choice. I love mine. I have the 265/65 and they do not require any lift. I do use a slight lift for looks though. In my case, I get a "little" rubbing against the frame horns which prevent me to get to full lock. You will love their handling on road and off road as well... -

Wont respond to keys
I didn't have time to wait and to a hard reboot. I simply left the key in it, called LR and asked them to come and tow the truck to the dealer. The dealer called and told me that the module had to be replaced. The time after they had to replace the instrument cluster... Same symptoms. -

No I got the truck towed to the dealer and they swapped the module and reprogrammed the keys.
