The tool will save your presets when you use for the first time. Otherwise you can follow the steps to do a current setup back up. It will save everything including the suspension current settings.these are the steps to follow. I highly recommend not using the Bluetooth and leaving your phone/...
On my LR4 I used to run a full time lift. 35mm front and 25mm rear to give it a flat (horizontal) look. The truck comes slightly lower on the front from the factory to help with aerodynamic...
Yes do get an alignment once you're happy with the new height.
That sounds expensive but as long as it covers all you need.
I might have exaggerated a bit but here the list of what I remember
Battery
Door handles and receptors (no auto open or close, bad receptors)
Window regulators
Mirror cover (just decided to fall off)
Suspension compressor...
You're correct. The frame horns and wheels will still be an issue. By the way, the IIDTool only allows me to go 37mm further up than normal. That isn't much but that is the safe spot for my particular vehicle.
I actually think that they've been releasing more vehicles than any other manufacturer in the last couple years and this is going to keep coming. Without even taking into account the full engine refresh that they did. 2.0 turbo in the LR2 and SCV6 on the LR4 (combined with the 8sp auto). They...
Even though not everybody will agree, I would get the warranty.
I got mine with 43k miles, always serviced by LR, and have now 70k miles on it. I've had to replace anywhere between $15k and $20k on it. Most of it covered by warranty. Do yourself a favor and try to get a CPO vehicle.
They're...
Just go on the Land Rover website. All the specs are up and you can build your own.
I think it's priced really well and hopefully for LR will be a good seller.
I also used my 19 ones and they lasted between a few days and a few weeks. One by one falling out. It happened on the front wheels first and then the rear.
I knew it was bound to happen based on all the complaints from everyone else on the forum.
I did blame it on my wife a little ;)
I guess I wasn't clear. No they will not. They seem to but they're about 1mm too small so they will pop out sooner than later.
Use the search function in the forum, it brings up a lot of useful information.
Hey Rich
Not sure where you got your info. The wider the tire is the more you'll be having rubbing issues. With a tire as wide as a 305 (not sure why you would want to go this big) you'll be rubbing against the frame horns but also the wheel wells and most of the suspension components and...
You can simply hold the button up for a couple seconds, with window rolled up, until you hear a faint click. No need to lower the window or go thru this long procedure.
It works for all 4 windows the same and you will need to do it if your truck fully resets itself or you play around too much...
For long trips on pavement I have my spare (Duratrac 265/65/18) deflated and located in the spare wheel location. In my trunk I have a compressor. When I go off-road I put the spare in the trunk and secure it with ratchet straps.
I've used it for my suspension, enable global close, digital speedo, DRL and a couple others.
I've also used it to slaughter my sat radio. LR had to install a new module after that. Best not to change the type of radio you have with the IIDTool.
I know that. I've lived in various countries and was just wondering if Qatar is using the European rating or US that's it. Simple curiosity and not a big deal at all.
Isn't it in your owner's manual?
Windows won't roll up in the USA. This feature has been disabled in this country for safety reasons. You can re-enable it if you have a IIDTool.
