Nice summary Dan. Those seats look very much like those in the Disco Sport which I find uncomfortable. I know there will be better materials in the new Disco so hopefully closer to the comfort of the LR4. Hope you are enjoying the new LC, sadly I don't sense the Disco will have the towing chops...- colorover

Looking for floor jack recommendations

Snow tires on 19's
We have the Nokians and they are brilliant in the snow. Not as good on ice as a true winter tire like an R2, but perfect for Colorado. We do a mix of city and mountain driving and never had an issue. They also hold up well in the wet and don't seem to be wearing any more than normal with our hot... -

Wow, LC. Had no idea they were above an LR4 for rating and tongue weight. Can you sold the latter with an aftermarket hitch? Air in the LR4 would seem better suited to deal with adjusting to heavier loads than a Crusher. I don't care for the styling much either, let alone the 3rd "row", but... -

Dan, sorry to hear it. I am local in Denver, and as you know you get a tax benefit trading here so you will have an ~8% incentive to do that v. Carmax (and the dealers here know it.) Carmax also tends to ding trade in value for modifications. Being local I would be interested in your wheels... -

One other thing driving the jelly bean styling is fuel economy and minimizing drag, they're doing everything they can to maximize fleet fuel economy. Funny thing for me is that the recent iOS update, which included an update to the BT software, fixed the issues I was having. Nav instructions were getting clipped, now fixed. -

One leak and lemon law it? A step back from the ledge and a deep breath is in order... While annoying, especially for a new car, just wait for a response from the dealer. NAV8 vs SCV6 Comparison
I agree, not sluggish or choppy at all. Only think I can think of if the two extra gears but the trans is so smooth. Love the V8, but choppy is not at all how I would characterize the SCV6. -

Last date to custom order a 2016 LR4 thru dealership?

I would be surprised if your extended warranty covered control arm bushings, as they are a wear item. Just like brakes. -

Extended Warranty - purchase at signing or wait?
No need to pay thousands to a dealer when you can't/won't use the policy for four years. Estimate your mileage over four years then ask them today what they would charge as if it was four years down the road. My guess is that you would find a better return keeping your money and buying right... -

Great shot, that storm was crazy. Our LR4 and 3 did very well as usual (Silent Armors on the 3 and Nokian WRG3 on the 4).
