That sucks. The LR3 A-frame bar is Steel covered with foam. I bounced a BIG deer squarely off the front of mine at 40mph and deer really seemed to appreciate the foam ;-) Saved my truck from needing some new grill and hood. good luck with the search... -

Making the LR3 trail ready
I guess I would be in the its still an LR3 camp (but probably not a daily driver). I would think the ABS and EAS could still be functional. Just an extra 3" of lift and 4 inch increase in track width. Pretty amazing! -

Good luck with the new vehicle. I have never tested this because my LR dealer is closer, but I have heard that a ford dealer can do almost all maintenance on the LR3. Any truth? -

Yes - all aftermarket. Mine still works great. I think there are a few around here that have gone that route. All that stuff is discontinued now, so you will either find it real cheap, or not at all. Im sure there is better options now, but the trick will be finding something that fits perfect. -
LR3 Subwoofer
I put a box with two 10"s behind the 3rd row. There is enough speakerwire to put it behind the 2nd row where its more practical, but the sound quality is not a good. I put the monoblock amp and speake-to-line out box in tailgate where the oem sub was. The box is easily removed if space is... -

EASY! I use blackberry (bluetooth) music gateway. $20 - Works great! My HTC thunderbolt and any gingerbread android 2.3 or newer phone should be able to simultaneously handle 2 bluetooth connections; one to the LR for calls and the other for music. Music automatically pauses when a call comes... -
