I have the opt2-slims. I love the protection, the look, the fact that that my pant legs dont drag/get dirty, and enough of a step for my 2 year old to easily get in. Link to picture in my signature...
Cool Rig! Good luck with the sale! I hope it goes to someone that appreciates it in the wilderness (and not the mall parking lot). Whats the next project?
Where did you endup installing yours Huelsmma? I used to have one slipped behind the dash, just left of the stereo and just below the vent. It since been removed - I found that once I had installed the Kenwood v500 "video hub" & GPS, I didn't need my AudioControl Overdrive any more. I was...
WOW, its a tiny minority that actually go off-road with these. You may be one of a very few with a Y. Congrats and welcome!
There is some good posts here (and else where) about roof lights. A good example:

Sorry I wasnt clear, thats not my LR3. Mine is similar but does not have RAI, winch, or black wheels (yet).
Where are you located? There are LR expedition rack currently available in various parts of the country - just nothing near me at the moment.
Yup, i removed the 2nd row light to reach my rattle. After reviewing your post, your need is not clear if its the front or the rear of the sunroof (mine was rear). Either way, both dome lights pop out the same way. I had the front one out as a temp (becoming more permanent) location for my GPS...
I was seriously considering a diesel toureg, but I actually found the VW toureg to be much worse in dependability ratings than the LR3. Compounded by the fact the VW dealer is 20 miles away, vs 4 miles for the LR - I chose the LR. Never had any regrets.
I think the expectations are different for a honda than a LR too. I took my Rover in for steering wheel cover curling. I would have never botherd for my wifes Scion.
Welcome to the club.

2. I have those and like them. I didnt look to see if that was a good price. best bet to do a quick google.
3. I have this too since the...
What dealer? What was the time period of all the problems. What was the last thing they replaced that fixed it? According to the dealer computer, I had a compressor problem but after they waited 3 weeks for one, turned out to just be a bad height sensor.
There have been many revisions making the compressor "stronger" (and TRBs). Here is one from 2006, not sure if its most current: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10111/LS204-004Airsuspension.pdf
I also would not give up the cross air linking (axle articulation simulation)...
Great timing, I just pulled it out and boxed it up to post it up on ebay this weekend. This works great, I just dont need it anymore with my aftermarket stereo setup. This unit is small enough to be hidden in a dash cavity to the left of the stereo (a pair of 6' headphone to RCA cables were...
I have seen reports (but not part numbers yet) that the FORD explorer/expedition with air suspension uses the exact same compressor and bags. prices for the FORD sourced parts are up to 66% cheaper than same LR part. That said, Im not sure of the exact price of either but I would certainly...
I am really enjoying the reduced dust of my EBC green pads. No other determinable difference in braking performance. WOW the Textar kit is 1/2 the price - its worth a try. If you do jump in, please let us know...
