    Brake master cylinder issue?

I had an issue in my LR3 where the brake booster got water in it from the main engine seal being slightly dislogged at the driver side top corner and allowing rain to drip on top of it. When it was below freezing I would have hard brakes and I could not stop the LR3 (quite dangerous). As soon...

    CPO or Dealer Extended Warranty

It looks like you discovered the obvious, the RR is a notch up from all of those, even the GLS, something about British refinement that is just different than the others. I think it is semantics - you have price point and you will likely max it out (it's human nature to get the most we can)...

    Possible Electrical Issue

My AC was working fine during normal temps, but started blowing warmer air whenerver temps hit some threshold (I don't recall exactly what temp ° that was). It was also blowing slightly warmer air on the passenger side than the driver side and in the end it was just low on refrigerant. Once it...

Suspension Fault, HDC unavailable,Transmission fault, brake switch

Have you checked your alternator? These trucks get really wonky with electrical faults/gremlins when the alternators begin to fail, and they do not typically just die, they start "acting up". They usually fail in the 8-12 year range, if yours is original I would definately check it as a...

    Another Defender hint?

What is even scarier than that is the fact that many used LR4's for sale have those stock tires on them, meaning the owners/leasers simply put on the same tires again (and again in some cases based on mileage and how long those tires last).

Opinion Needed: Range Rover SC or Range Rover Sport SC?

I have an 08 LR3, 08 RR and recently rode in a 15 RR LWB and 16 RRS back to back while my wife did the test drives. The Sports tend to feel more like a truck (like an LR3/LR4) than a sibling of the RR. The sports are more cramped width-wise. The one we drove had the driver seat rub on the...

    Another Defender hint?

Yes I suppose we will know when the Defender is getting close to landing here when we see at least one tire available in this size in the US. Otherwise a 275/55/20 will be a near identical size that would fit close to the same wheel width range. I imagine both sizes could be stock options...

This is the tire from the mule in Utah. Notice the production date code simply says LR.

    Another Defender hint?

"When you see our announcements around this car, you will see it will be a very wide, stretched range. We will compete with some of the volume manufacturers, but we will also go up to very powerful, very luxurious versions of the Defender," revealed Mark Cameron, the head of Jaguar- Land Rover's...

    Transmission Fault and more

You should check the harnesses in the center console as well. If water did get in there and it dried, you would never know it happened. https://www.landroverworld.org/posts/168889/ Other than that, check the alternator itself - if it is starting to fail it can cause all kinds of quirky faults.

Local Tire store refuses to install S rated tire on 2015 LR4

What your shop is failing to understand is that tire construction has many facets. A higher speed rating on the OEM tires helps compensates for a lower load rating. Most performance tires are not made for 3 ton vehicles and have lower load ratings! And no car manufacturer (non-exotic anyway)...

    Transmission Fault and more

Was the vehicle outside? You can get these errors if any moisture got down into the shifter assembly or into the wiring running along the door sills. A spilled drink, or an opened or clogged sunroof drain can cause that. A warped windshield cowl in front of the passenger window can also let...

    Another Defender hint?

That may be a touch harsh - while I have not cared for the outward aesthetics of everything new starting with the Evoque, LR has advanced the Terrain system with an auto sytem, created the All-Terrain Progress Control system, invented the Invisible Bonnet System (whatever it is actually called...

    Another Defender hint?

Looks like a new wheel design I have not seen and it does not match the spare on the back (which is the wheel design we have been seeing). I presume the brush guard gives final confirmation on the front-end design (that it is not some disguised styling). Not sure what happened to the passenger...

LR3 starts shifting weird after dusk (around the time lights come on)

Have you checked your alternator? When they start to fail, they cause all kinds of crazy electrical gremlins, similar to what you have described. If it is orginal, definately replace it as they seem to consistently fail between 8-12 years depending on the use of the LR3.

    P0116, P0480, p0483 Fan gone beserk

My local LR specialist (Indy shop) had a customer with similar issue with a fan gone crazy (would run full speed for no reason) and it turned out to be a bad diode in the alternator. A failing alternator is known to cause lots of strange electrical gremlins. If your alternator is original they...

Here is one with William and he is a touch taller I think? Clearly a bit larger looking Defender overall - whatever they come out with, they will probably offer a non-air suspension version for countries where it would be ill-advised to have one...

    Another Defender hint?

Well it definately says Defender on the front, but there is some sort of carpet/cover above the steering wheel, so clearly this is not a finished vehicle. I am also unsure about the bulbous extentions along the sides, it does not seem to fit right around the gas cap, so I am sticking with the...

    Review of Continental TerrainContact A/T

My wife put on the Geolandar G015 on her RR and she claims they are the best tires she has ever had, and she is fussy. She does wish they looked a bit beefier (she had the Duratracs before these), but she could not be happier with their performance in dry/wet/snow (and they are quiet so far...
