Considering how long it has taken to get the impending Defender to a reveal point and the fact that there are no plans outside of it being a talking point, there is definately no Defender truck in the next 5 years anyway. I suppose if LR sells their desired 100,000+ units they could fast track... -

Absolutely true - with the rise in aftermarket accessories for vehicles, the manufacturers are trying to keep some of that money in-house. Once upon a time, factory radios were mostly single or double din square units that could easily be replaced. Heck, my first car (an Acura Integra) did not... -
Improved Visibility...
Those definately look like the 5-seater LR4 headrests. In the LR3 the 5-seaters got better rear seats as well, I am not 100% if the seats changed on the LR4 This is a 2016 5-seater LR4: -
So here is why after owning (4) Land Rovers I don't think I will ever own one again.
I don't know, my 08 LR3 is so bad I just gave up on it years ago. It would not drop calls, but the sound/connection was terrible and all I could make out was the sound of my wife screaming at me to turn it off and just use the phone directly...Her 08 RR works OK, but it is not great. Another tire/wheel thread: 19" vs 18"
I had to go back to the post below to remember I had researched this a bit when I first bought them, there are photos of them being tested when they were launched and some sizes are beefier - the 255/55/19 was just released at the end of 2019, so they may have modified it for this size... -

Those wheels look great on that D5. Still not a fan of D5's myself, but the wheel/tire combo does make a significant improvement!- catman

Yes it is oddly shaped - if you look at the any spy shots without the hood "cover" on it, the real hood does a double curve - there is a very small curve at the top of the headlight in addition to the obvious one in the photo above. That definately looks like a photo from the R&D center, or... -

Lr3 or Disco I?

I'm not sure what that rear pillar "box" is, you can see something like that in the Tusk mules, but I assumed it was part of the camo to hide things. It must have some function... EDIT: now that I see the LEGO image, it looks to be a mounting point for a side-mount ladder or some other... -

I do not know what the clown-nose knob is either but all of the LR test mules have them (it was in the D5 ones as well). It must be something to do with the data collection of something. There does apear to be a shell around the infotainment screen and the gear shifter assembly, but I don't... -
Every time my LR4 is inspected, the bill...
Based on the format and the hourly rate, this is definately a dealer. The problem is that a lot of dealers charge "book time" for repairs and do not charge the actual time spent on the vehicle. Case in point, $32.50 to secure wheel arches. What did they do, twist one of the snap-in anchors... -

Ha, I can totally seem him pointing that out in great detail - "and when you turn the key, the wheels on the image start to spin! The only vehicle in North America with this feature, and that is why the New Defender is worth $90,000!" -
