What you are asking for is really a battle of compromises and there are lot of tires out there that try to play with the ratio of compromise for each aspect of a tire. Michilin, Goodyear or Nokian? (19")
My wife had never mentioned tire noise in her life, she cares much less than I do about that, but even she is tired of the hum from her Duratracs on her FFRR, windows up, AC on, radio on, etc. You WILL hear it - that does not mean it will bother you, but you will hear it. -
Service message on transmission
It is just that, a service due reminder. There is a preset oil change reminder, most likely set at 7500 miles, but it also checks for other aspects of your driving (i.e. a lot of short trips) and will adapt the timing of when it is due (at least I belive this is how it behaves). It will count... -
2014 LCA bushings
In SC you are probably fine (unless you are right on the ocean living in salt air) but some of the suspension bolts can get rusted/stuck to the point they need to be torched off. Just something to consider when contemplating if it is a DIY project. -

The Seattle dealers were the last ones with LR4 Landmarks (in Zanzibar) when the rest of the country was sold out - guess that is why - they will not budge on price. Here is as much info as is available about JLR and what they are up to now and in the future - this is their investor presentation from June 22, 2018. No specifics on the Defender other than release in Fiscal 2020-2021. I had to break it down into parts for it to fit here.- catman

I am not aware of what deals people are getting on the Discovery's. But, my guess is that they are slightly better than average for Land Rover since the Discovery is one of their lower sales volume models here in the US. 2010-2013 LR4 with "Facelift" grille - photos?

In the UK I believe they have the option to "reject" the car (rescission), but I am not sure about a 2016 at this point, I think there is a limited timeframe to attempt this. Honestly, your best bet is probably to use your anguish and service history with the dealer to plea for a very good deal...- catman

19" offroadish tires?
