Is the LR4 good for daily highway travel?
I am sure the GLE drives great, but it looks like an AMC Eagle. Gotta factor some style points into the puchasing equation as well :) -

2011 lr4 tires with 19 rims
That is what LR did with the Duratracs - the 255/55/19 size was made specifically for Land Rover (which is what Goodyear told me). With the other vehicles moving to 31" tires, I imagine that would be the default for the Defender as well, with stock capacity to handle up to 33" and then beyond... -

Windshield Cowling Installation
Mine is outside as well - the wife gets both garage spots :). I am not sure why the new one bowed so quickly - perhaps it is not made as well as the factory original. It came from Atlantic British and was "genuine", but who knows who LR has making these things these days. -

The Disco Sport is getting a slight rear end makeover for 2019, so I would suspect the D5 will get a few tweaks for 2020. Now that the Defender is looking to be a chiselled box, more like an evolution of the D4, I think people will not care as much about the design of the D5. -

Yeah, really. It does look like what the natural progression of the Discovery could have been. Looking forward to what the inside may bring - could be all over the map since they supposedly will make bare-bones Safari versions to Luxury Country Club versions. -

I agree, my wife begs me to get another Disco all the time, I just can't do it unless it is a 2nd spare car because I know how much shop time the first one needed, but I did like driving it more than my LR3 for sure. The Discovery is just not growing on me - I am hopeful for the new Defender... -

Wow, looks great! My LR3 dash is cracked all around the passenger air bag seams (a common issue with LR3's), but it has not spread anywhere else yet, so I am hestiant to tear it all apart and potentially introduce rattles or squeaks - let us know how it ends up! -

Now that you have it out, I would think there would be a part number stamped or stickered somewhere under your dash panel. Did you inspect it thoroughly?? -

You should loosen and reset your transmission cable. It, or the linkage attached to it on the transmission itself could need adjustment. -
