General grabber 255/55r19
Well let us know what they say. My wife really liked the General Grabber AT2's on our LR3 (in 18") and would likely opt for the AT3 for her RR over anything else out there in 255/55/19 right now. I may do the same thing you are considering if you have luck with them! -
Your thoughts on these LR4 rims/wheels?
There is a Rimini red LR4 near me for sale but it has 130,000 miles - I think that is a very sharp looking red in person (not always in pictures). -
DRL 2015 LR4 HSE
LR is notorious for making random changes - some identical features that can be changed without a dealer on my 08 LR3 cannot be done on my 08 RR and vice-versa. Really makes no sense to me. The 15 manual does not show any process, it just says to contact the dealer. You could show them this... -

Now that looks like a Spy Shot. Most of the time these "spy shots" look like prearranged promo shoots from the manufacturers. Looks like a decent amount of cargo room for a 2-door. Bigger than a 2-door Jeep, perhaps like the old 2-door Wrangler Unlimited in size. -

I would argue it is worth less than 5-6K on the open market with the present issues you mentioned. It is probably worth 5K after those items are fixed. I think my 08 LR3 with 160,000 miles (and no current issues) would be garner 5K when the deal is actually signed, if I actually tried to sell... -

As you know, the oils in the links below are what you want, although I am unsure what the difference is between the Pro and "non-pro" versions. It seems doubtful Volvo would specify the same oil, they do use a Castrol 5W30 in a few engines, but not a C1 that I have seen...- catman

I guess I should say that tight tolerance is not required if someone knows what they are doing - my local Indy shop does not use it either for same reasons described in the posts, but he knows exactly what he is doing and what to look for. The indy shop owner only trusts one person at the LR... -

255/55/20 vs 255/50/20
LR3/LR4 tires are 30" as the stock size, regardless of whether it is 18,19, or 20" wheels. This would be 255/50/20. However, you can safely fit up to about 31.5" before any potential rubbing or modication requirements become part of the equation. 255/55/20 are 31" tires and should fit fine... -
IIDTool CCF issue
Yes, I had the same issue for one of the functions (would not successfully complete the upload) and it was fixed with a firmware update that I did not know was available for download. Hopefully that is all that is wrong. -

I could not find any simple way to take the shifter assembly apart - I think it was rivoted together (I could be wrong) and there was a small circuit board at the connector, so it is quite possible the assembly board itself incurred an electrical short which would make cleaning its connector... -

Control arm question
You will 100% need an alignment after this work. As for the bushings, if you have the equipment or know a place that can do this, there is no harm in just replacing them on the original control arms. Many people here have just done the bushings and they can chime in as to whether there were... -

There were several different Eagle body styles but I was thinking of this coupe when making the comparison - BMW makes a similar one as well - and everytime anyone I know sees one them they all say they look like the old Eagle. The GLE SUV is not too bad looking - perhaps a bit too glitsy...
