    Huh....... replaced mine with eurospares last year. Will see how they do. The previous OEM ones lasted around 60k km or so, so $ for $ the cheapies probably not bad value, especially as next time I change them no Sawzall will be required.......

    Slider pins were fine on both sides, well lubricated and free moving. The wear was most uneven on both inner pads.

    Hey, thanks. But if you are removing the three bracket mounting bolts, no need to renove the hex bolts while the compressor is on the vehicle? You can remove them to take the compressor off the bracket after the units is off the vehicle. Or am I misunderstanding you?

    I'm getting a C1A20-64 code and 'normal ride height only available' message. I at 100k miles, 2010 LR4, so it probably time it cramped out. Dessicant powder in the valve blocks? Is that readily apparent? Blow out with air?

    They are rubber, so I would expect some flex right? If you are not getting a clunk when going over bumps or pulsing the brakes at low speed then LCA bushings fine I would think.

    I would second replacing the 8 intake manifold gaskets. They must harden and lose elasticity over time. I got mine from the dealer in Toronto. Don't recall them being prohibitively expensive

    Not a repair I was expecting:)

    Noticed the tailgate 3rd brake light seemed higher at one end. Whacked it to re-engage presumed clip retainers to no effect. Closer examination shows the plastic brake light unit is glued in place and lifting off at one end. Ordered windshield urethane adhesive and will wait for warmer weather...

    Note that the emergency release cable located beneath the cup holder inbetween the front seats can be hard to operate. I could not get it to release and ended up driving 3km with the smell of burning brake shoes
