Ticking nose or just ticking bomb?
The click was coming from the fan assembly so I replaced it. The same exact sound yours is making and at first I thought it was a timing guide slapping. -

LR4 5.0 Antifreeze
I know several people have had engines overheat with dexcool in the system but I am not sure if they have mixed fluids or underlying issues. Coming from the diesel world I only ran factory coolant mainly for warranty reasons and cavitation. -

Is Dex-cool safe? My parents 97 blazer used dexcool and it turned into a thick mud plugging up everything in the motor to the radiator. -

How To remove LR3/LR4 Plastic Caps securing Roof ditch molding
This is funny, last week I replaced the alternator on my 06'LR3 and the little plastic clips totally kicked my a$$. Of course they sale a tool and yes I've seen hundreds of adds for the tool including a large assortment of plastic clips but NO I fought with the little clips for a good ten minutes. -
2006 LR3 HSE: Replacing Front Lower Control Arms
I was quoted $1400 including alignment for both lower control arms. I will do most things except engine work, the special tools required is a deal breaker lol. -

2011 HSE and just hit 99,100 and just replaced lower control arms at 95k-ish.. -

Suspension faults
What am I missing here, I replaced my LCA's in the garage and had zero issue with height sensors no codes ect. When my battery went bad I just replaced it with just like battery and had zero issues. What am I missing? Is there some special voodoo doll I am supposed to program or what? -

Ultragauge 2
the flat one that sticks to the dash or wherever and the gauge snaps on to it. The standard flat mount it’s less then $4 lol and you can snap the ultra gauge onto it. -

Look at the lock and copy that number, several trailer/lock places stock the key. I paid $6 for three keys. I just can’t remember the site lol but, several sites will pop up. Found it, Thule.com -

I am not exactly sure how accurate the OBD Ultragauge is but I did set a alarm to sound off at 206f and it will sound off, I just don’t know what temp is to high. -
Steering wheel shake at 50-55 not wheel balancing problem.

LR 4 control arm question
I had the same exact issue and noise, my lower control arm bushing were wore out. I went the eBay way, $240 for both complete new LCA and $100 for alignment.
