Not really sure. Just know if I hit the Nav button twice it pops up asking on-road or off-road. Like I said. I have not had a chance to play with it. -

Short roof rails installation cost
There is no install video of the short roof rails. If you watch the one video of the extended version all you need to do is make the same cut of the molding that covers the channels on the top of the vehicle and then just bolt them down. It's that easy... -

You should at least contact every local dealer and verify that you want a vehicle and what your needs are. They can be on the look-out for what you are wanting. I was in the same boat as Dan except my dealer had a vehicle come in with everything I wanted in colors I could live with that... -

My LR4 Has Been Built - but...
The hitch is a simple accessory. Only other item that would have to be added is the wiring harness kit. Simply plugs into the rear driver side light and is routed down to the hitch, from what I have read. Again, just like the rails, not sure how much they are going to charge you to do... -

I would not even bother having the dealer install this for you. I just ordered a set of short rails and will be doing the install. There are youtube videos. Its really as simple as removing some plastic rivet's, cutting the current gutter covers and screwing down the rails. Paying... -

2015 the new discovery
Yea, let's not derail. Ultimately my truck never had working AC and based on the date I was quoted yesterday it will be in the shop for 3 weeks before it will hopefully be fixed. :frown:
