Ya im in my second week after the order and wasn't getting a shipping confirmation. However they did just email me and say they will get me confirmation.
Did you ever get yours? Or tracking for that matter? I have nothing so far and they have neglected to return any of my three emails asking about tracking.
Ya must be my issue.
I did run it for a couple min maybe 5.... but in 55 degree weather it must not have warmed up as much as I thought.
Also had the filter out while I did this. Id say I got a good 7 liters out.
Did the first oil change on my LR4 since purchase. 62k on the clock. Dealer had changed at 55k.
A few interesting observations. I also purchased the Mityvac 7201. My first experience was fair. Although it is simpler in nature Im not feeling as confident with that system. I had to keep...
I have a set of slightly used K&N Air Filters in perfect condition. Save yourself $50 if your going this direction.
$50 shipped for the pair to the lower 48. :hello:
Cleaned the TB today. It was very clean already. A slight bit of oil on the back side and a small amount of build up in the housing.
Funny enough the Land Rover service manual actually suggests agains cleaning the TB housing. :stupid:
I also cleaned off the MAF sensors with CRC MAF...
My CEL came back on this past week. Even after the sensor change. Lone behold the previous owner had put K&N filters in the car. :ahhhhh:
I replace with MANN filters and Cleaned Throttle Body. Hopefully that will solve this issue.
Actually it makes total sense for me. The fact that I probably don't need or can't justify the ARB bumper for my current LR4 use. But if I was in any kind of fender bender making it a prime opportunity for the modification. :hello:
Just curious on the "clean out" process your referring too. Im going to pull my intake again this weekend and was planning on using a couple different cleaners depending on how dirty it is etc.
Very cool. Ive had a number of BMWs... been to the ring and factory in Germany etc. :big grin:
Love my Rover though... this is my second... had a LR3 for 5 years. Sold it and bought an X5. Always missed my the LR3 so I sold the X5 and picked up an LR4 this winter. :bandit:
Ya for sure. These are the types of brand loyalty things about LR I have come to love. This is only my second LR but not my last!
Just started to follow @finlayforprez! :hello:
