No, it is 3/4" thick. on the top side. The botton side/side paneling is .16". This is done so to hold the stress that the winch may create. Also, it makes for a good beer holder after late nights of riding in the woods ;) -

AC went out!
I had the same EXACT issue with the A/C on my '05. Luckily I had the rear air to use for a few days. At the time it had 76k miles. I just crossed over to 90k. It's 99% going to be the relay fuse(or switch.. w/e you call it). It was $5.96 from my LR dealer and I replaced it in about 2 minutes. No... -

Just rolled over to 90k miles. It's time for another oil change/tire rotation. I'm currently using Mobil1 Synthetic. Any of you guys recommend other synthetic brands? I've heard good things about AmsOil and Royal Purple. No complaints about Mobil1. -

If you're looking for some good sand rides, I would recommend the Nitto Dune Grapplers. 265/70 are good with the rod lift. I'm running Johnson Rods. I've had absolutely no issues with them. You shouldn't really have to do too many mechanical changes to the LR3 for it to be a beast off-road. Like...
