I do every 5k miles. Coming up on 90k miles(next BIG service schedule). Differentials and transmission fluid change.. This is going to suck a huge gap out of my wallet. As for oil changes, I do them myself. Turn on some Stevie Ray Vaughn and get to work!
Sounds like loose bushings? Perhaps when the initial acceleration is let off slowing the truck down, the bushing have more weight on them causing movement? Just a thought..
I was coasting along in off-road suspension height on a dirt road with few bumps. An orange suspension light came on. Nothing happened to the truck, but curious to know why this happened? I put it in park, lowered it, and turn it off and back on again. The "fault" went away. Any clues?
Looking to find an older model Range Rover Classic to add with my LR3. I don't mind finding a fixer-upper either. Only want to lift it and put some tires and rack on. A good "weekender".
I'm running the SuperWinch 9.0xi on my rig. Took me about 4 hours to install. Running the wires straight through around(and under) the radiator to the fuse panel with a relay switch.
How do they feel on the road? Noise level, vibration, balancing issues, tread wear, etc.. Any input would be much appreciated. Currently running Safari TSR's(275/65). Living in Florida now. Hardly any off-roading down here and wanting to cut down on tire aggression. Thanks.
Finally found some good land to ride/camp at. Funny thing, not even 5 minutes from my house. Anyone in the Orlando area who wants to me up, shoot me an email! About 300 acres with legal access. No fee's. Sand, mud, miles of trails, hills, etc..
Awe the joys of living in Florida. Rainy one minute, and hot as balls the next. I plan on checking out the above ^^^ forest park when I get some time off.
Moved to Orlando from Memphis. Drove the 900 mile trip straight through with no issues, thank goodness. I have noticed a jump in my MPG's, most likely due to the flat surfaces here in Florida. I haven't found anywhere for off-roading. If anyone is aware of a place, please enlighten me!
Finally made it down to Orlando after a 13 hour drive. Everything went well with no issues, thank goodness. My only question is whether it's normal or not for the air suspension to drop just a little bit after long distance rides? I noticed when I would pull off to take a break or grab some food...
Wet-cell batteries sometimes use them. If anyone uses an Optima Yellowtop battery, is it worth all the money? My current battery is fine, but plan on changing soon.
Ah that's no good, man. I'm aware of the "F" either. I cringe taking my LR3 to the dealership as I never know what's truly wrong with my car after they run codes. I've been ripped off too many times.
Thanks. They are located in Birmingham, AL. They deal everything from Series, D90's and 110's, to Range Rover Sports. I had them custom fit the bumper through their local shop. They gave me a discount on the bumper for letting them "advertise". Couldn't pass it up.

Heading out of Memphis for Orlando on Tuesday. Going to be a long drive! Figured I would post some pics of every state sign with my truck in front of it. TN, MS, AL, GA, and FL.
Radiator is NOT the issue. I had the EXACT problem you're having. I had the bleeder valve replaced, t-stat replaced, t-stat housing replaced, and a hose replaced. Solved the issue. No problems since.
