2011 LR4 HSE V8 hesitated, stalled, won’t restart...
You could try to clean the throttle body first (cheapest fix). It could be clogged injectors, fuel pump, etc... Did you happen to do any type of maintenance prior to this happening? Give us some history. I’m assuming it turns over (ie it doesn’t seem to be electrical)- scott schmerge

It will possibly have a pending code. Hopefully you ordered a Gap IID or similar. Sometime the cheaper code readers are not super helpful. If you have a friend with a gap tool, they can run codes. That function is not vin locked- scott schmerge

It seems the issue is not with the pipe itself, but the joint/seam between the two pieces of molded plastic pipe. After some more thought, any prototype is probably going to wait a while to fail...and by then the production window is gone anyway, or we have no reliable means to test the...- scott schmerge

It’s likely safe, yes, just wanted to verify that the proper fill capacity is liters. I live in the states and fill with jugs as well but do fill to 8 liters.- scott schmerge

8 liters, not 8 quarts. Correct, no dipstick. If I recall, the gap tool will give you an oil level reading as well in liters (how much is in the sump) even while running. The reading decreases when running for obvious reasons. I may be making that up...but I think I recall seeing it.- scott schmerge

Yes, there’s a 3D printing company called markforged that can print in metal and all types of carbon fiber, etc. pretty interesting technology. If we get a good CAD file, the intricacies of the part may be best suited for a 3D print that does a part with no seams (the failure point). The other...- scott schmerge

I would. Great truck. I do all my own work though, so it never bothered me much to tinker. Surprisingly I had very few issues with it. I had it from 35k to about 165k. Issues with heater core, suspension, and ignition system, but that’s about it. Otherwise ran flawlessly- scott schmerge

Not sure why it’s overcomplicated...LR often is... I just installed supplied parts on mine. The 2000 MY P38 had a throttle body heater that was over engineered and lots of folks bypassed that...- scott schmerge

Camshaft sensor, timing belt or new engine? 2015 LR4 75K
If I’m not mistaken, you’ll get notified on the cluster if your oil level is a quart down. I’ve never been low, but I think I read that on the manual. The truck has to sit not running for a bit for oil level to register.- scott schmerge

Not sure, but open to any/all ideas. I’m guessing the plastic is going to crack eventually as it gets brittle no matter how it’s reinforced- but not an engineer either. I think cnc machined is going to provide us with the best copy. Any yes, looking at the part it is clearly an abs molded part that is fused together. Getting a cad model will no doubt provide us with the ability to try to source an affordable and durable pipe.- scott schmerge
