    Head unit issue

Mine does this like every 4-5 months. I just restart the vehicle, and all is good. Complete shut down, lock the doors, wait a few minutes, then unlock (to wake up), and everything should be OK. Also you may have a bad amp/processor.

    LR4 Accessories

Same here, the rear lights are wired differently, one to the reverse lights (helps where I live, and j the woods at night) and one to a switch so I can use it for camping or when I need a work light in the rear . The fronts are hardwired to the fogs (with relay), plus has a secondary switch...

What in the holy hell are you trying to light up!?!?! I feel way under luminated, with just two front (Mounted to the ProSpeed bracket)37W LEDs, and two rear 18W LED's

    Brakes

Do not got with the YELLOWS, too hard. The EBC Green box's are great, matched with the EBC Sport Slotted and Dimpled rotors. Not sure if they help at all, but does add a better than stock look.

Front brake pads on 2013LR4 funny looking weight?

I have them on my EBC green box, and it is a basically a counter weight to reduce squeaks, and brake noise.

:-( broke my rear windshield :-(

DO NOT USE SAFELITE. Took them two windshields to finally admit they had no idea what they were doing. In this case anyways. I ended up bringing it to the dealer, so they could have their local glass company perform the installation correctly. The glass is very sensitive to proper alignment on...

    Upgrading from stock hk subwoofer

I have played with this a bit. In the stock location you can fit a slim 10" sub. With a bit of sound damping material, and a compact amplifier, you will be very happy. I am working on the pictures but I did a MB Quart DS1-254, and a NVX MVPA1. While not a audiophile quality sub-woofer, with a...

    the LR4 19inch tire dilemma

There is also a new set of Continental AT that are supposed to be great, and it will fit the 19" issue quite well. I have heard really good things about them, and am thinking I will go with them once my Coopers wear out (20" wheels)...

    Brake pads already worn?

Yes the OEm Semi-Metallic pads do squeak quite a lot, especially in the summer when they cannot cool as easily. However there are some ceramic pads out there. You will get less dust, less noise, but the temperature coefficient of the ceramic will not render itself useful to the heavier LR4...

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

That is how they are designed. They just barely clear the calipers. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk

    Showoff Your LR4

The center console offers a built in side arm holster, right next to the TR control. Great for compact/sub-compact firearms.

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

A 255/65r18 actually has a smaller side wall than a 265/65r18. A 255/70r18 is almost identical to a 265/65r18. So not really a bigger sidewall, just a narrower tire. www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=265-65r18-255-70r18

    Brake pads already worn?

That's one of the reasons I use the EBC pads. They have a break in coating to "resurface" to rotors and match them to the new pads Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk

KO2's vs Duratrac's in the snow? Anyone have either set? I know the KO2's have been used by most, but I have always had good luck with the Duratrac's Also has any one used or seen the Kumho AT51's

    Brake pads already worn?

You will average 18-25K per pad change interval front or rear. my last two changes resulted in front and rear pads. At 86K I have gone through 2 sets of rotors, and 3 sets of pads. Check the rotors to see if they can be turned to save some cost. It is also significantly cheaper, and most of us...

    AUX Switch Location

Paul, I know the location. I have looked into it a bit more. I am thinking of converting the upper glove box, into a command center of sorts. Communications, power, and vehicle control. I also found this amazing device. Pricey but what an awesome concept. Could use a phone or the switch panel...

    Front Runner Ladder Installed

Talk to Erik over at Lucky8. They deal in the Prospeed stuff and the price is considerable lower, once you factor in shipping, and taxes. I got the rear ladder for 310, free shipping. That is lower than Prospeed sells it for on thier website.

    AUX Switch Location

I am planning a new build and am working on details. I want nothing to seem an afterthought. My issue now is the AUX switch locations (Lights, winch, power ports...) Has anyone figured out a good location for rocker switches (lights, winch...) in the LR4. I was going to use the "cubby" opposite...

Are these OEM or > Quality Brakes?

I run the EBC sport rotors (slotted and dimpled) not sure if they help. But they don't hurt, and they look a lot better than OEM Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk

Are these OEM or > Quality Brakes?

The Brembo setup from a RRS will not fit on an LR4, without some forethought. You need to change the entire hub/knuckle assembly, then buy the appropriate caliper, rotor, and pads. All said and done you are 2-3k into without significantly higher stopping power. I have researched this to no end...

Prospeed roof ladder and light bar

According to Prospeed you do not have to drill into the roof or "A" pillar. It uses existing hole that "may" have to be enlarged by 1 mm. They sit under the "A" pillar trim. From the video it seems the description is a bit off. But it still seems like a pretty cost effective solution. I would...

Prospeed roof ladder and light bar

Anyone have any experience with either? I really like the ladder, and since Urban Off-road is no longer is business. I like the extended step and upper "platform". Does anyone know if it will fit with a Baja Rack? I am sure it will but want to make sure. I do like the light bar, but may be a...
