Finlayforprez, looks to me like it uses the upper tailgate edge to secure to the body. I'd look at the instructions of the oem LR ladder. I bet it's the same install = no drilling. Likes like a nice bit of kit and cheaper than the LR ladder. Also the LR ladder bulges up on top and this one does...
If you post a pic or link to a picture of your wheels I can tell you if they are a direct fit. The original 2003 RR wheels are not a direct swap, but later years were.
I'm selling an LR3 arch set. It would also fit an LR4 or Discovery 3 or Discovery 4.

Brand new never used or installed Land Rover LR3 tailgate tail gate handle. Color is Java Black. This handle could be repainted to match your paint. Compatible for Land Rover LR3 from 2005 - 2009. Also would work on an LR4, Discovery 3, or Discovery 4...

I would get the part numbers from your dealer and try to source from eBay or other Internet vendor. A quick search on the above referenced should save you $$$$$$.
At times I feel like my LR3's V8 is underpowered I can't imagine what a V6 would be like. The 5.0 V8 that the LR4 has is what should have been put in the LR3 to begin with (my opinion). I have been a member of this forum and one other for I believe 4 years. In that time I've seen 2 threads...
