Resale value for LR4
I don't have an LR4 yet, but dealer says my 2005 LR3 HSE with 30,000 miles on the clock is worth $22,000. So 5 years on its worth a touch over 1/3 original cost. -

Headliner Falling down
I don't believe the headliner is glued. I think its held up with trim clips. Perhaps these clips have failed and renewing them would solve your issue. -
"Navigation not fitted"
I'd check with the dealer. Seems odd that all the components are there but no nav. Perhaps the memory needs to be reflashed. -
Any Aftermarket LED rings out there...like on the BMWs?
If anyone wants DRL's have your dealer configure as canadian. This will enable DRL's (bi-xenon) as soon as the LR3 or LR4 is taken out of park. LED's are not part of this setting, just bi-xenon. -

Cmgrover- Off Road
I'm on my 3rd compressor and I've got 29,000 miles on an '05 HSE. Last replacement was in June, charges were about $900 paid for by Ford ESP. My compressor fires up as soon as I start my LR3 everytime. I don't remember it doing that before the most recent replacement. Do they all do this? -

Dash kits anyone??
Dash kits I've seen look like crap, but the kits on the site you referenced look closer to factory. Looks like they're only $150 you could always order one and see, if you don't like it put it on ebay maybe you lose $50. Until you see the quality first hand you'll never know what it would look like. -

Question for LR4 owners who upgraded from an LR3
Is the new interior in the LR4 quieter compared to your previous LR3? With the new dash being more soft touch material than all the plastic on the LR3 is there any noticeable decrease in noise? My LR3 creaks and moans if I make a turn on even a flat surface (the dash area). How about the rear... -
Tire Wear
The early LR3's sufferd from excessive inner tire wear due to 'bush settle'. I believe in late 06 or early 07 LR changed the geometry of the alignment to account for the early LR3s issues. Speaking of old school rovers LR is currently designing the "Project Icon" LR to replace the Defender. I've heard talk that LR may combine the Discovery AND Defender for this new vehicle - would be LR's true off road machine. Supposedly the RRS will get 7 seats in the next version therefor... -

Are you checking the top bulb in the lights? Believe that's the only one that lights up during braking. -

Only 1 way to be sure and that's to take the lamp out and look inside for the led strip. If its there you might get lucky. -

Believe the led suround feature on the LR4 headlamps is only a Lux or Lux Plus feature. Absurd if you ask me since it's the new face of the LR4, every trim level should have them. -
Ordering 2011 LR4
