    As as side note, I've been pulled over twice now in WV for running the bar. Never fined, always a warning but it is very noticeable when on. In terms of safety, it's worth it to me - just be the only car on the road when you run it.

    Psst...that wheel can run a 275 55 20. And plenty of tires in that size, A/T or not. That size is a good size, barely any rubbing and a 32in diameter with plenty of sidewall.

    I frequently carry my Great Dane in the back on ski trips and he takes up the whole back, so roof box(Yakima SkyBox 16 Carbonite on stock rails/crossbars) is the only way to go for me. Apart from that, center fold down is a great feature in this already awesome ski vehicle.

    I figure it won't do this if the sub-circuit that opens the thermostat is being cooled constantly by a stuck fan clutch and doesn't get warm enough to open the tstat until much later.

    Beige headliner sucks and shows dirt/smudges and I hate it. That's all I have to say about that. I wish it were grey/brown/black/anything but beige.

    Thanks guys. It's very high pitched, a loud whistle. When driving next to a tall concrete divider I dont hear it, it's just when driving under a bridge. I'll keep trying to find it, it's maddening.

    all LR4 V8s had the 6sp 6hp28 trans, at least in the US. They never certified the v8/8sp combo and I wish they had - the 8hp trans is very very good. The FFRR had a v8/8sp combo in 2013.
