    classified need a certain amount of posts before you have permission. IID tool is few and far between used. they were actually just on sale for black friday for $415ish shipped from lucky8. i dont think theyll honor that price. ask them nicely and they usually will sell for $480ish shipped...

    i stuck it to the inside of the console lid with velcro. At first it kept falling off, so i lightly sanded a small (1"X1") area on the console lid, cleaned it with alcohol, then stuck the velcro. it has stuck for the past 6 months without issue.

    Replacement Shocks

    My 2011 lr4 has original front shocks. Had to replace the rears at 140k due to a bad damper on the passenger side. I think the ride quality could be better though, and will be replacing fronts next spring.

    m is typically an abbreviation for meters. my best guess would be... 1 meter = 39.37" 39.37" x .146 = 5.74" bottom of pan to top of oil level is 5.74"? Id assume the oil volume is calculated by a capacity of the pan combined and the level of the oil, measured by the oil level sensor.

    i feel the IID tool is expensive too. i put off purchasing one becuase of this. when financially able, add it to the top of your list. i had a no start issue after doing a DIY repair. required a tow to the dealer, diagnostic cost, and repair cost. all in, almost $800. the problem...a swapped...

    i agree with avslash. took me almost 2 hours in my driveway. and this was on of the first things i did to my LR4, with no shop manual. even after factoring the cost of the plugs, they are price gouging by 3x what is should be.

    Heated windshield not working

    I'm in the northeast, and the lr4 is always outside. This will be my first winter with it, but based on previous cars, I expect to use it often. Between frost and ice, I'm looking forward to not scrapping the windshield.
