Traction/Stability control on snow and ice?
Short answer: That depends on the LR4 and if you are using the terrain response. I have driven a land cruiser and it cannot hold a candle to the LR4's terrain response, so you may be seeing video of a land cruiser using their a-trac system while the LR4 is not utilizing the terrain response...- iSurfvilano

How is your new D5?
Had another opportunity to take a D5 off road at the Overland Expo this past weekend. I took it out right after taking my LR4 on the same trail...wow, very light and responsive. Still think it's harder to see out the window and over the hood compared to my LR4 but this new D5 literally does...- iSurfvilano

Roof Rails - Premature Aging?
Only time I have seen it is when looking at a used LR4 that had non OEM rails. The black plastic was much darker than the painted aluminum.- iSurfvilano

Discovery SVX
I've been pretty down on the D5...but in all honesty, outside the unibody design and explorer look, this SVX has everything (mechanically/technologically) I wanted my LR4 to have. Damn it Land Rover...you better make the Defender look good so I can pony up for an SVX version of that.- iSurfvilano

Buying my very first Land Rover! Help appreciated :)
You may be able to find a very well kept D2 as well...just a thought. I seen an impeccable one complete with service records, 1 owner, and 70k miles selling for 10k. It looked showroom ready. Guy used it as a weekend driver.- iSurfvilano
