    Hydraulic Jack Suggestions

That's a buzz kill.... Hahaha. I was thinking my tire rotation process would be easily cut in half with one of those new battery powered brushless motor drivers.

    Hydraulic Jack Suggestions

This is fantastic. So you can set this to mode 1 and it will automatically tighten to 100 ft/lbs and stop so you don't over torque the lugs?

    Hydraulic Jack Suggestions

nah, just looking for a good rolling jack so I can quickly rotate my tires or do work behind the wheels without having to use my spare tire jack. I've been told that you get what you pay for with some of these and was wondering if anyone had a good experience with one they use. I get mud caked...

    Showoff Your LR4

there has to be a way to make this work...I mean if you add the snorkel and create a removable plug that is placed on the opposite intake when it's needed, that should do the trick....right? @NASdiesel

Still very interested on how you made this snorkel work with the dual air intakes. How did you go about this?

Making a case for the D5

Got back into my LR4 finally --- Yeah, the LR4 just feels better than the D5. It was a fun "case study" but yeah...LR4 feels more like a truck which I prefer.

Making a case for the D5

Oil, brakes, horn, rattle upfront and my touchscreen had lines in it. They stay busy since they're the only dealer around. We've purchased 3 Land Rovers from them so they always treat us well when it comes to loaners. I love that dealership.

Making a case for the D5

I also see that they found clever ways to store items. There is a cubby behind the center console, a slot for a cellphone by the center cup holders and the door handle has been closed up so you can put a phone or something there... It also has an ambient light over it which is pretty neat...

Pump the brakes.... You're totally correct... They DO go completely down if you press it twice... And I did it from the touchscreen which was cool.

Making a case for the D5

Glad you made that point because I will never buy a new new LR again after knowing more about CPOs. Let's say that someone buys a LR and doesn't like it...they put a few thousand miles on it then trade it in. Well...if it's been titled once, they can't sell it as a new car...even if they only...

Making a case for the D5

hahaha, yeah, it is the "sexy side" of it. Main reason I did it from that angle was to show the new 4Runner behind it. I noticed that from the windshield to the back window the two are pretty damn identical. Which makes me dislike the D5 that much more...

Making a case for the D5

I am actually really wanting to see the parts that come out for the D5 svx.......I wonder if I can upgrade my LR4 with the long travel air suspension... yay! Does anyone know if the air suspension would be transferable?

Making a case for the D5

I see your point of view....but...My current LR4 had a sticker price of $68,900(I bought it used so I didn't pay that amount.) With that being said, it was over $70k out the door when it was new...At the time I purchased my first LR4 (which was $56k new) I could not have imagined paying over...

Making a case for the D5

Though these factors are important to some, my comparison was really just based on the 2 vehicles, not so much the pricing or manufacturer sales...strictly making a case for the vehicles themselves.

Making a case for the D5

So my dislike for the D5 is pretty well documented in this forum yet my experience prior to now with the D5 has been limited to a 2 day loaner of a base (literally bare bones) model then a 30 minute off-road test at the LR experience in Asheville this past Summer with a more upgraded HSE model...

    LR4 Mileage Poll

With the likely disappointment of a new defender, I am wondering how far I can take my 2015 LR4 w/ 60k miles on it. So far, no major issues, but I am interested in seeing how many high mileage rigs there are out there in good working condition. Plus polls are fun.

    Rear differential leak?

It's a pinion seal on the rear diff. Known issue and covered under warranty but get it taken care of as soon as you can, you do not want too much fluid to escape or it will become a bigger problem.
