Resetting Brake Pad Light?????
Did you replace the sensors when you did the pads? The sensors are a "wearable" component and only cost about $15 or so. It's been a while now so my memory fades, but I don't recall doing anything to clear the light, but I replaced the sensors at the same time the pads (and rotors on occasion)... -
Beach LR3 ?
I don't think it would be any fun in the Jeep. It's a tractor, 80% of it's torque is developed at idle. Sand is a horsepower game, with a need for speed. The Jeep is not speed. -

I think the airbags can go at least 150,000 miles, but probably 10 year max life? I think the control arm bushings should be replaced between 15k and 30k depending on how you use your LR3. brake pads, 15,000 - 20,000 miles brake discs, 30,000 - 40,000 miles Don't forget OEM Goodyear...
