    Didn’t you mention you had some random warning lights on your other thread too? Does the vehicles clock stay set? Another +1 for new battery. If you want a slight upgrade, an H8 battery will fit without any mods. I believe H7 is the stock size.

    Long crank, no faults

    If you floor the accelerator pedal while starting, you can crank the car as long as you desire. I’m not 100% sure, but I’m pretty sure it cuts fuel. This might help isolate your problem. Maybe monitor the low pressure and high pressure pumps while doing this, and see if it starts normally...

    Lr4 3.0 battery

    Bad alternator is what it sounds like. If you have a multi meter you can check the battery voltage with the engine off and engine running. A scan tool should also be able to accomplish the same thing.

    New (to me) 2012 LR4 5.0

    When I took mine off (non rust belt state) it took a lot more than 5, but every swing I saw the hub move. Took probably 30 minutes to an hour per side from what I remember (For the entire job). Easy job.

    They are almost as quiet as the OEM tires. I've had mine for about 30,000 miles and they've held up pretty well. Have had them in pretty much every condition except heavy mud.

    This is what I used for reference when I removed mine on my 2012. Mine had previously been replaced under warranty so it was easy to get off.

    Aren't valve cover leaks common on these, that drip onto the alternator? I think a few others have had that problem here.
