just because you can put a shackle on it doesn't make it a suitable recovery point. more of a tow point and only for straight level pulls. Just be careful with that. -

Kind of a pain to diagnose, but ultimately I think you (or a shop) would have to check the fluid level and then go from there. Could be issues with the trans if its not just a simple fluid thing. -

Refilling coolant system how-to?

Bleeding cooling system
Just take the lower radiator hose off and let it drain for awhile, then put the hose back on and use the vacuum refill tool to fill the system. It doesn't fully drain the system but it does fill it and keeps air out. I've drained my coolant and had it filled back up in like 10 minutes not... -

Also very important to actually follow the procedure and fill, then start it and warm the fluid and fill the rest while the engine is running... otherwise the level will not be correct. Watch out for the hot CAT that the fill plug is near. -

"Unusual" preventive maintenance?
I've changed the fluid on my locking rear diff. It wasn't goopy at all. Just changed it after a lot of water crossings in the Ozarks natl forest. Good to do every so often.
