Does anyone know if coolant constantly runs through the rear heater core, no matter if the rear heat is on? Or, is there a valve that stops/starts coolant flow to the rear? -
2014 LR4 Leaking Coolant
The obvious questions are: How many miles on the vehicle? Have you replaced your crossover pipes, water pump, t-stat, etc.? My guess is the front crossover pipe cracked. Hope you don't need to drive it soon... with a leak like that, it should stay parked. -

Can't see much from underneath... Muffler and heat shields in the way. But the drip is clearly making its way down, and dripping off the heat shield, just can't see where it originates. From inside, I removed the plastic panel and I do not see anything wet, so I am thinking that is a good... -

Startup ticking noise - exhaust leak or lifters?
That's a lot of work... I am just trying to figure out if I even have an exhaust leak, but its so damn hard to see the manifold bolts... even with my borescope. Can't tell if it's easier to come at it from the top, from underneath, or through the wheel well. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. -

I just got the clips from Atlantic British and they came with the circle tape (for the top holes only). I think as long as you get some tape with really strong adhesive that can withstand really cold and really hot temps, you're good, but sealant would prob be even better. If you look real... -

Wow. Nice job. I will be referencing this in the future, I’m sure. I did the sunroof drain cleaning, upgraded the a-pillar clips, replaced the cowl, and covered my hvac scoop…. but have a feeling water will still find its way in somehow. -

Made the same tool when I did mine... works perfect. Unfortunately, a torque wrench won't fit on those tough to reach bolts when putting it back together... have to do those by feel. Helps to jack up the transmission, but still couldn't get all of them. This was one of those maintenance jobs... -

So here is a link to the metal version. Just bought 2 of them, just in case. The description says does not fit naturally aspirated 5.0... but I called the company (Euro AMP), and he said that it would fit. If you buy the elbow with the thermostat tube, then you will need to specify NA vs S/C... -

Found the leak.... Haven't attempted to fix it yet, as it is too late now, but hoping its the hose clamp and not the plastic elbow in the water pump. Crazy how much coolant can leak out of there. Edit: I just realized I didn't report in this thread that the hose under the manifold was leaking... -
