Help on Decision - 97 Disco
How much are they asking? Do you really want a vehicle with that many miles on it? I would be looking for one with lower miles because I love to drive my 97' and I tend to put a LOT of miles on it. -

Coolant Reservoir Leak

You can try cleaning the throttle sensor that is located within the top of the plenum. You will see the wires going into it (between the air intake and the plenum). Just remove the plenum with an allen wrench and pull it back to look inside. Inside you will be able to locate the sensor. Try... -

Where to mount the Hi Lift???
I have the Safari Guard mount. I got it used for $35. That was the perfect deal for me. Just beware with the high lifts. You might want to find the thread in the tools section about the high lifts. They can be bad news! -

Range rover starting problem
How is the battery? If you have not checked it in a while, you could try a load test. If it tests okay, around 300 amps, then do a starter amp draw test. This should be no more than 200 amps. If the starter draws more than 200 amps, it should be replaced.- Slam

Anti-freeze leak of some kind
Your heater core has probably failed and is leaking coolant. Replacing the heater core should fix your problem if that is the case. GOOD LUCK! -

Yes it can be used as a tiny step. Maybe 2" tops so if you are holding to the bars on the roof you can stand on your toes. It is nice to get in and out of the vehicle too. -

Socket Sizes...
Sure. Beware of using the 27mm if they are even slightly messed up. You will not be able to get them off! And then you will try to hammer it off and there will be a huge dent on the front of it. -

The lug nuts are 27mm I think but they are always jacked up from Big O and places like that. The oil pan nut is about a 23mm, I think (I used an adjustable wrench last time). Does anyone else know the oil pan nut? -
