Had mine done at 109k. Like KMET said, welcome to LA. Another character that California Has developed on my car is the bonnet lettering pealing and fading from the gray into a yellowish color. Get ready to see that if you don’t keep your car in the garage all the time.
On lucky8’s sight the only wheel that requires no modification to the brake caliper or spacers are the Compomotives. If your looking for a more budget friendly 18’ wheel you’ll have better luck with the Tuffants 18’ for LR4. These require no modification to get the wheel on the car and depending...
I have a 2010 HSE LUX. I’ve actually thought about this a lot and just to make sure I’m hearing this correctly I can enable daytime running lamps with this correct?
This scares me knowing that I replaced my front struts with Arnott shocks. I’m guessing you already have put the suspension on off-road height pulled the fuse and listened around for air leaking out of the shocks. If it’s not that then could it be one of the air lines has a leak but I’m not expert.
If you have a bad battery in the car it could freak out like this and throw a whole bunch of codes but that’s a long shot. I’d say take it to a mechanic and get the codes pulled or get a GAP IID tool and do the codes yourself. Sorry to hear about this though. I’d try to sort it out with the...
Interesting. Drive shafts and The transaxle are things I’m not very educated on. But I think it’s possible because it literally feels like something shifts when when on a slant or transferring weight from one side to another.
For me, when I would drive on the freeway the steering wheel would shake. My LAC’s and sway-bar bushings were all I total $930 with labor included. There definitely trying to rob you.
Your giving your IID took away?? I’d love to take that off your hands but how would I get the vin lock off to your car and onto mine. And if you really are selling it, how much?
It sounds like it would be something frame related due to the fact that I don’t feel it in the steering wheel. Also the sound is louder inside then it is on the out. Also it’s odd because it doesn’t happen on the way up the drive way it happens on slight changes from slanted to flat.
Well here I am again! I’ve been hearing a clunk/knock recently that’s starting to scare me a little bit. After I got my tires I got exited and decided to have some fun with her, which led to me accidentally hitting a jump at 40 Mph and throwing off the alignment and causing a little bit of play...
Let’s all also remember that Tesla wasn’t successful on their first car. Only 2500 Tesla roadsters were sold practically sending the company into bankruptcy. I’d say it’s highly unlikely for the Grenadier to be successful coming from a company no ones herd about unless they have their own Elon...
Honestly I think it will be extremely difficult to have the Grenadier marketed in the US. First off it’s from a company that no one other then car enthusiasts have herd about. And unless you have owned a defender and fell in love with the styling there’s no reason why people would chose this...
they already have, the 3.0L V6 engine block from ford was replaced with the 3.0L in-line 6 block from BMW in all of the 2020 cars except the Discovery.
My 2010 LR4 had those messages starting at 80k miles. I drove it till it got to 95k and I could tell the ride was a lot softer and then finally bit the bullet on a new compressor.
Land Rovers preparing their response to jeep and the bronco . They’re attempting to solve the competition with the only thing acceptable to any insane human being like me, more power.
Some D5 owners maybe switching over as well. Also if they do this it might be a clue to them putting a V8 in...
Yup happened to me as well. I dealt with it for as long as possible and then bit the bullet and replaced the compressor. To my understanding it’s because the compressor it’s too weak and needs the engines rpm assistance to spin the Compressors clutch so it can do this job. However before you...
