2012 Lr4 service required message “Reset”

I bought mine in the UK, with the exchange rate and shipping (£25) it worked out at $472 and took about a week to arrive... Here is a link: https://www.island-4x4.co.uk/tfiidbt-integrated-interface-diagnostics-tool-bluetooth-tfiidbt-p-27303.html

    Air Suspension head scratcher

I have 92K, all original, but she's lived in Pennsylvania; Kentucky and now MI so I suspect it's had a rougher saltier life! I will keep burying my head in the sand until the bags deflate but also suspect the shocks could use some love... Weather wise, from hot and humid to freezing cold snow...

    Air Suspension head scratcher

My 2012 still has the original struts, having serviced all valves with new o'rings and a new compressor mine is sitting pretty!... It was falling overnight but not by huge amounts! "I'll keep y'all updated as soon as the new struts get here. Not gonna lie though, I probably won't do a full...

    Air Suspension head scratcher

I'm so glad to see progress being made, keep up the great work and reporting :-). Also sorry to hear about the LF - Damn that's rough! Here in MI we also suffer with the salt; on my radar is to look at the frame and clean it up as much as I can... Inch by inch you reach a mile! Keep us...

    Oil level not showing

Welcome to the club, I bought mine last August and have absolutely loved it (more than I ever would have imagined)... It's given me a few sleepless nights and challenging diagnostic episodes but as time goes by I feel a little more confident in my choice (it has 90,000 miles!). This forum has...

Lost ALL Key/Sensor(s) - Please help me understand my options?! Thx.

I think it's around $400 to have a new keyfob programmed, I never had the physical key within my keyfob (the blade is it?): a new one of those was $110 - ouch! So sorry that Lucy isn't feeling well :-(.

I think shocks should be replaced in pairs so in my opinion that's a good call! Keep us posted!

    Air Suspension head scratcher

I'll have to dig around in terms of way's to do it; I suspect it's more than just damping although that is an option for the transients. Adjustable sway bars have been around for a while but need more energy/power, they get used for roll control...

I have to think you don't have kids!... I can't imagine this much freedom and I'm lucky in that I've managed to get as far as I have! Anyway; thank you for explaining the adaptive suspension system, it's a very cool idea! I certainly like the idea of a softer ride on the dirt roads and then...

    Air Suspension head scratcher

Perhaps it's worth checking the pipe going in to the air spring (again)? Is there any reduction in how much it falls overnight, in other words has the valve block slowed it down at all? I concur on the routing of the pipe, I tried following it just visually and had a rough time! What is ADDS...

    Air Suspension head scratcher

Great work and photos - Thank you for sharing. Looking at the old valves I think there's enough desiccant for the valves to be leaky. Mine looked similar! By cleaning, lubricating (with silicon grease) and adding new o'rings I was also able to stop my suspension from dropping. I don't think...

This post has a link to the videos I used to pull out the radio unit: https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/2012-radio-not-storing-preset-stations-or-returning-to-last-station-listened-to.44507/page-2 One big tip that really helps with the two side panels (right one shown): Is to move the...

Land Rover LR4 2015 keeps entering valet mode on its own

Curious what computer takes care of this, is it the head unit that also contains the CD/DVD player? I swapped out one of these for one that I found for $105 on ebay; if you're a DIYer this may be worth a try; it fixed my radio issues! Overall process is not too bad and there are plenty of...

Yeah - I used the type that you put on water based o'rings (for plumbing). It certainly helps seal and keep the rubber moist and therefore helps to prevent perishing.

Been waiting for this update... Good luck with that rear valve bad boy! Remember that silicon is your friend and also pay attention to the o'rings on the couplings.

Cars and Bids LR4 Purchase & More

I had the same issue with the rear nuts all requiring a 23mm socket and even that was tight... I bought the Eisen chrome wheel nuts last October: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0843PW9PN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 On the box they suggest not using a impact wrenches...

I hope you're having fun with all this cleaning, it's really having a great impact :). I used this stuff in the past for restoring plastic, it works well and lasts a reasonable time: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071FRWWRF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Can you comment...

Default air temp at startup w/auto climate

I suspected that the case with heaters! And was also wondering about the iiD tool now that I have one! Anyway, don't want to hijack the OP's thread! Good to know we're on the same page wrt to the heat.

Default air temp at startup w/auto climate

Mine definitely doesn't do this... I have a somewhat similar complaint in that my front windscreen heater and rear heater always come on... I prefer to be in charge of this!... I did purchase a replacement for this control panel (as I had issues with sticky buttons) but can't really comment...
