I broke off a bolt in one of these.. CAREFULLY drill it out with an opposite direction drill bit, mine came out about halfway down. PB blaster the hell out of it, let it sit, and get drilling.. You can have someone cut it out and replace it, but I think that's a last option.. These channels... -

AFAIK the codes read only "right bank" or "left bank" so you can only narrow down failures to the respective side. It would be nice to have them say "cylinder 6" but I think it correlates data from the O2 sensors, which are only left and right. I had codes on both sides- the dealership said... -

I has this issue, and threw the misfire codes.. It turned out to be my injectors; the dealership replaced all of them.. I think that the computer just reports the banks, not the individual injector failures, so they usually replace all instead of bench testing all of them.. My warranty... -

Just got the truck back.. They left the chain in, said it was fine.. They installed the updated tensioners and guides, plus a slew of gaskets and seals.. New coolant and oil. They billed 19.25 hours.. Mike -
