Shooting wildly here... You said "when you come to a stop." Does it matter whether it's in park or drive when this happens? Also, have you checked the alternator voltage when this is happening? -

I know some circuits will show voltage at a terminal when using a high-impedance voltmeter, but in reality there's no current there to speak of. Possibly a measurement issue? Or can you actually power a test bulb at both terminals with the engine off? -

Interesting. Sounds like the desiccant ought to be part of the regular maintenance. Anyone know what the desiccant actually is? Silica beads that can be purchased separately? Or even whether that Aramox unit has the desiccant built-in? -
Wrong transfer case fluid
I'm with @ktm525 . I doubt anything has been damaged. In fact, I'd be more worried if thinner fluid than was called for was used. Have them flush it a couple of times and it should be fine, but that's just what I would do. -

Thanks, @ryanjl . I did find some things like this that replaces internals, but actually nothing about the desiccant. I can't tell whether the desiccant is kind of part of that assembly, or located elsewhere, or what. -

Long shot, but... I've had mice nest in air ducts before, and create blockages. Usually you smell it, too, though. But maybe putting a vacuum on the vent to try to force a fair amount of flow through the system would help? Also, check the cabin air filter, or just remove it temporarily and see... -

As usual, I think @jlglr4 's logic is really sound, and he's making good recommendations. The only thing I might add to what he said is to check the condition of the battery and alternator in case there is a problem with voltage leading to some of the seemingly strange mix of codes. -

What @jlglr4 said. Coolant at the intake is not good. Are you sure that didn't get on those mating surfaces some other way as you were taking things apart? If that coolant was on the inside part of the seal the gasket makes there, it seems very unlikely that there was enough of an air leak... -
