I wish JLR would explore cam disk brakes, which might be a reliable, relatively small system to replace the large, multi-piston hydraulic actuators. But honestly, I expect a lot of the braking in the future will be done further up the driveline: at the electric motor via regenerative braking. -

Does ARP make a set of studs for this application? If so, I'd use those over bolts. I've had great success with them in several different aluminum engines. -

Discount installed my Coopers on the Compomotive wheels, and AFAIK they used their own TPMS sensors. They seem to work. If they'd have had to buy them from JLR, I'm pretty sure I would have heard all about that. -

Honestly, they aren't easy to remove. The plastic tabs are pretty hard to activate with the whole center console intact. But remove four screws and you can pull out the panel that supports those from the center console. Still not easy, but it's easier. For the wiring, it depends on what you're... -

The existing holes have a flat on one side to keep the lighter socket from rotating. I just used a dremel to put a flat on the plastic threads of these gizmos, too. They are the same diameter as the rest of the holes. -

So is it a standard alternator, but the regulator is PWM? And presumably that's internal to the alternator, so...great idea for something that will wade in mud!
