does the code just appear when you start the car or does it trigger when you try to use the shifter. if it comes on right when you start the car then it sounds electrical. I used to think they were heater elements, they're actually radio antennas. I will say though that the heated mirrors tend to go on these cars, I need to try to clean the connections on my drivers side mirror to try to revive it.- Jimmy Brooks
