So the board level solution worked. It is not perfect, but it works. The board has aux in on it so you can wire it to the existing aux port and maintain factory functionality. I will probably do this in the summer. Too cold to mess with that right now. -

Okay, so this module did not work. output was too low. I ordered a different one that showed an actual LR3 6 disc head unit in use. So I ordered that. If that doesn't work I will try the board I picked up. -

Coolant expansion tank and bleeder valve replaced. No error messages and no codes, first time since buying it! Still need to work out the front right suspension issue. -

Replaced the Nav DVD drive/ computer thing under the drivers seat. Now the Nav works!! So just the front right sagging shock to resolve and Eleanor will be back to 100% health! -

TPMS module changed out, so that is now working! Low coolant warning is not going away so tried to bleed and broke the plastic tee. Ended up ordering new coolant expansion tank and bleeder tee. Pulled interior A pillar trim to fix those too. Lots of progress! -

So, looks like all 4 front parking sensors AND the module were bad. BUT. For the first time since buying this truck in 2012 the front parking sensors are working! If you need me, I Will be enjoying a victory beer. Tomorrow is all the wiper arms/blades, front air suspension valve block and... -
New Owner of 2006 LR3
the sirius xm antenna is on the roof at the back in that shark fin. It has the GPS module there too. They do fail. you can find them on eBay. I swapped mine out 10 years ago, it has failed again so I bought one on eBay. You may be lucky and it may just be a lose connection in the housing. -
4.4 V8 Rear Coolant Leak
When I did my water pump, the fan came off easy, I had the right tools for it, the bolt holder and the offset 36mm wrench. didn't even scuff my knuckles, but boy did it take me forever to line the threads back up and spin it back on. Reassembly was a 2 beer job!
