2008 Range rover towing electronics DIY?

hey all ,
I'm going to be towing with my 08 RR HSE and I'm looking for a DIY guide for the genuine RR towing electronics. i have found this one:

but it's for a aftermarket model and the harness doesn't look like the genuine one. dose anyone have a link to a DIY?

These are the official instructions for the oem RR trailer harness ('06-'09)

If you want to do it the easy way, you can just plug the trailer harness into the vehicle harness at the right rear of the car, attach the ground, and run a UHaul extension out the tailgate. Worked great for me on the '06 and the '08 I had.

i need the brake controller to work
I'm towing a 24 ft car hauler, i'll see how it works this weekend

There have been a couple of threads over on rangerovers.net, but there is virtually no info on electric brake controllers for the newer RR's. It seems kind of weird since LR tell us to have an electric controller for loads above ~1500lbs. but they have no info on it.
