This is my first post so please let me know if I am posting this right. I bought an 02 Range Rover about 6 months ago. I have had some A/C problems so I have searched this forum before.
My issue seems to be different that any other I've seen (If this has been posted before please direct me to where I can find the answers).
My A/C works intermittently. I turn the car on and sometimes the notebook pops up instantly and it only blows warm air. Other times the A/C works for 20-30 minutes before the notebook pops up. I have had it recharged, the blend motors work fine (according to a mechanic). What the mechanic showed on his diagnostic equipment is a "grant error".
From what I can tell the compressor disengages when I see the notebook. From your experiences is this a relay problem, a compressor problem, or something else?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
