Here's a photo of where i put mine. You can also see where they were rubbing. Actually cut a few of the wires causing Check Engine light. I repaired the wires and the light went out.

The increased diameter of the tires changes the final drive ratio, equivalent of puling a higher gear all of the time. My '07 w/Coopers gets a consistent 17.4 on country roads and in Charlotte traffic. Goes to almost 19 when I take a long freeway drive.

Recently when I start my LR3, and both before I move the truck and for a little while after I start to move, I hear a soft, subtle "fart" sound that seems to be coming from low in the vehicle and behind the front seats. I do not often use the parking brake, so I do not suspect anything there...
Dealer just replaced my original battery (under warranty) with an Interstate that looks exactly like the factory one. I had no indication of battery issues. They caught it during a service for something else. 25K miles on a 2007.

I had the same experience when I took my '07 w/ 25,000 miles if for a persistent "check Engine" light. Light problem was related to thermostat, they said. They did not tell me that they had replaces the battery. I noticed it n the RO and asked. They shrugged and said that batteries dont last...

It just "pops" out. Try putting a large screwdriver blade behind the glass and gently prying. It is on a spring-clip mount.
I bought the European left side heated mirror glass for my LR3 in order to get the wide angle effect. This greatly reduces the blind area. Had the same arrangement...
I swear mine gets better mpg as I drive faster. I get a steady 17.4 in my everyday running around home without any freeways. If I get on a freeway and run at 70 or 75 I get a steady 20.2 mpg. Did an off road low-range couple of hours over the weekend and that produced 14.3 mpg.
We're doing a...
I pull a 22' enclosed car hauler trailer with my LR3. Factory hitch and wire kit. No anti-sway or load leveling stuff. Prodigy controller. Loaded the trailer comes in around 5,500lbs. About 500 on the hitch. The Rover is a great tow vehicle. Love the way the height adjustment lets me hook...
Sales slow!!
I was in for free service yesterday. My sales friend said he only moved one car in May and one in June. He is one of the star LR sales reps. The place was overflowing with cars. Even had a chalk board in the showroom with a dozen used LRs listed with prices.

Here's a mod that has served me well on both Disco II and my '07 LR3. I ordered the UK left hand mirror and installed it. With the wide angle it gives you do not need to dip the mirror to see well. (No "the car is closer than it looks" writing on it either.) Cost about $70 from Rover...
