Lr4 detachable hitch receiver bent
Had a car rear end me and wack my tow ball - all looked OK until a couple of months later it snapped while towing my boat! Lucky I had the chains on and everything worked out ok. I don’t recommend straightening anything to do with the tow bar- it’s not worth it. -

Headliner Cloth Coming Loose
Unfortunately a common issue - it starts small and spreads. I have heard of people that poke a hole in it and spay aerosol carpet glue trough a tube but sounds dodgy to me. In Australia there are a number of companies that remove and recover the entire roof piece. Not sure about the US.. -

New Start Button problem LR4
No smarts to it - it’s just two switches in the one button - if both switches don’t close the car won’t start. Check it with a multimeter - it’s probably just a bad one. -

brake pad sensor light
Had my break warning light come on after getting my wheels balanced- turned out the little wire that runs down to the sensor was rubbing against the wheel and had worn through the wires. -

Anyone running 20" BFG KO2 without mods? And, there's a new BFG 20" tire option.
Running 265/65R18 KO2’s on my 2015 TDV6 on MOAB Rims with absolutely no modifications required. Only irritation is that I have to store the spare deflated (did not remove heat shield) Did not even need to adjust speedo. -

tool/trick to remove wires from fuse block?
If it’s only the insulation that’s damaged then it’s an easy clean and re-insulate using a couple of coats of brush on liquid insulation tape. If the copper is damaged then cut & replace.. -

It’s not cheap but given that I built it bloody 500 times you should be able to do it a lot cheaper. I’m not the plan it in advance guy so just measured & cut as I went (hence the many rebuilds & wastage). I will make a sketch though which should be enough for your guy to give you a price... -

Hi Navigare Yes the two vertical taps on the left are to isolate each tank. The three other taps are fill, vent and water out, under pressure, from the Shurflo 4009 pump which is mounted on the right behind the switches which gives more than enough pressure to shower. Without contaminating the... -

G’Day All - hot, dusty Aussie here Not 100% finished yet but I have mounted 2 x 40L tanks in the rear of my D4 after removing the back seats - whole system bolts into the existing seat mountings and it only raised the floor level by about 100mm. Real low close to centre of gravity. -

If it’s not your sunroof then I had the same flooded floor boards. I live on the coast so it’s hot & humid - the condensation drain pipes for the aircon were blocked solid (one either side of the centre console). Undid mine from inside the car and ended up with a further 1/2 litre water added... -

Had same problem on my old D3 - did not replace sensor just shorted the wires - end of problem. No alarm on bonnet but that’s OK (for me) -

Yep in Brisbane.. when we checked my speed he said it was within the tolerance that he allows - apparently each cop has a discretionary ‘error’ band that they can choose to apply. That’s why it does not pay to give them attitude when pulled over... Have 265/65-18s - great tire.. -
