    Fuel tank capacity- Sucks

The LRA tank also has a threaded drain plug if you need to empty some gasoline for other uses. A small siphon pump is probably better to avoid any spillage, but the plug is there.

    Fuel tank capacity- Sucks

Yep. Single best modification I have made to mine. I can attest that the tank will take a lickin' and roll on. Mine has a couple of deep dents and several gouges from crawling over rocks. I would be interested to see how they modded the fill system. Mine took a bit of fab and welding to get...

What jack do you recommend to store in your trunk?

Bottle jack for changing a single tire. Hi-Lift so I can get two wheels offs the ground if needed, but I have the T4x4 sliders that have a nice convenient rail to use a jacking point that spans the entire length between the wheel wells.

2013 LR4 with overheated engine...what would you pay

Rear locker? I would probably go $5k for one with a locker. Less for one without. It is also going to need some other work. Might not know what it is, but unless it was an enthusiast vehicle, it's going to need something.

    Fuel tank capacity- Sucks

Tank size doesn't suck when you add another 29 gallon tank...:)

    GAP IID Tool help urgent

Ditto on question above. Do you have lift rods installed? If so, this will throw it out of calibration on bump stops and it will not raise. Either put normal rods back in, or break out the jacks.

    Adaptive Headlight ECU Module

It's been a couple of years, but IIRC, I couldn't find a place to plug the module in. I still have the module floating around my miscellaneous parts box. I was busy as hell at the time, and put it aside and never got back around to messing with it.

    Adaptive Headlight ECU Module

I never got it to work. Still using the adaptive headlights, but the don't "adapt". Would love to hear from someone that has pulled it off.

    DIY Cargo/Sleeping platform

I did similar years ago. I built mine to nest, where the section for the second row slides over the cargo area portion so when you need it, you just slide it forward and screw the legs into position. I would also tell you that if you never use the third row that their is a ton of storage...

Tactical 4x4 Bumper vs Honda Accord. And the Winner is???

That is the common thought, but I rear-ended a someone in an accident in Houston and the other party got the ticket. I had to raise hell and get the cop to call an actual accident investigator to the scene, but I got it done. The idiot came to a dead stop on a four lane road and then tried to...

Is an LR4 Body Lift Possible?

Wonder if Eric at Tactical 4x4 would fab up some custom bumpers and sliders to cover the gaps?

Is an LR4 Body Lift Possible?

Thanks for the clarification. So I kind of read that as it should be simpler for these trucks. No sub-frame to contend with. Somebody needs to buy some hockey pucks and have a few beers...

    Running BFG 275 65 18's

Yes, you will want to reweld them and coat the area with some type of rust inhibitor.

You would need to cut them in my experience.

Is an LR4 Body Lift Possible?

Yep, that orangeish/red one is what I remember. Aren't the LR4 and the RR Sport the same chassis? Hmmm.

    Mechatronic Replacement

I had my mechatronic out to replace the bridge seals located above it. No need to remove crossmember unless you want to go back with factory pan/filter. you will need a very small ratcheting torx bit holder to get to some of the pan bolts, but I absolutely did not have to drop the crossmember.

Is an LR4 Body Lift Possible?

Anything is possible if enough money is thrown at it. There were pictures of, I believe, a Range Rover Sport out of Nevada that had one done and was running something like 37" tires. Can't recall if it was on here or on ExpoPortal. I like the idea. Raise the body and run whatever tire, and...

Has anyone run the Rubicon Trail in an LR3 or LR4?

Can't really comment on the aluminum, as I have never used them. I am completely happy with the HD version of the fiberglass I got. They go everywhere the Rover goes.

Has anyone run the Rubicon Trail in an LR3 or LR4?

I get where you are coming from. The reality is all vehicles are a sum of compromises. The built Wrangler that will run the Rubicon without assistance, is by comparison, not something I'm going to want to log 1,500 highway miles in to get there. I absolutely agree with you on the bypasses...

Has anyone run the Rubicon Trail in an LR3 or LR4?

I agree. Every vehicle has a different set of challenges. Our challenges are height and tire size. You make it, you made it. I would for damn sure be putting one of those Jeep trail badges on mine afterwards. I do worry that some of ya'll might not be willing to break and bend as much as...

Has anyone run the Rubicon Trail in an LR3 or LR4?

You want something like this. Not the flimsy trax things that seem to be in vogue. They also make a great deck surface for a roof rack. https://www.okoffroad.com/stuff-waffleboards.htm

Has anyone run the Rubicon Trail in an LR3 or LR4?

If any of you guys agree to run it in a group, post it up. I would make it if at all possible (25 hour drive to get there), as it is a bucket list trail. I have never towed my Rover anywhere but would probably load it up on the gooseneck and tow it up there with the F350 due to the damage...
