    Towing Electric Kit Install

I have a 2015 and just installed this harness last weekend. It's very easy and takes no time at all. I can confirm that no trip to the dealer is required for just your trailer lights to work. My tips are, the tail light has only two screws the resistance that you feel after removing them are two...

Lol, if you're happy with what you've got then that's a good thing! Colorover makes a good point too. Watt ratings are really more marketing tools than anything else these days. Double the wattage does not mean double the sound. Unlike horsepower, that's just not how electricity works! Yet...

Meaning no offense at all, your first 5 words are the only thing that make the rest of your message possible. Having heard both, I was willing to pay the extra to get it. You are right in that the 380 is no slouch, but my goodness the upgrade knocks it out of the park.

Possible yes but really expensive and labor intensive. Especially in the rear where there would need to be speakers, mounts, and wiring where there currently isn't any.

It's worth every penny. I tend to upgrade my audio myself in each car I buy. With this one though, I knew I couldn't do better for the same money.

There's nothing wrong with leaving your engine running while fueling up safety wise. It can cause check engine lights on some cars though. Those stickers you see at pumps are just government nannie crap. Now, the no smoking stickers, yeh those are legit!!

2 Year Service Sticker Shock. Just me?

This is a scam. A legal scam. No different than what you see in The Wolf of Wall Street. People, let me be clear. Unless it is covered under warranty, stay far FAR away from the dealer for any kind of service. I mean even the freaking tire rotation for $75 are you kidding? That's insane, normal...

I've heard both and for the money, it's and ABSOLUTE no brainer. Get the upgrade!! I have it in my 2015 and love it. It's one of my favorite things about the truck.

Trust me you'll love them. They are really great tires!

    Remote Start

I'll throw my two cents with something I noticed the other day. The 3 liter takes way longer to warm up just idling than the 5 liter. It was about 28 degrees out the other day and I started it and left it running in my garage. I only expected to leave it for about 10 minutes but ended up getting...

    Plow?

Plows are absolutely brutal on front ends. It's honestly not worth the trouble. I live in Wisconsin and have plenty of experience to say that I wouldn't ever consider putting a plow on an LR4. If you really want to do your driveway yourself, I'd consider buying a beater jeep or pickup with a...

Valeo wiper blades let me down ,,,

Glad you made it through. For the future though, my recommendation would be to stay out of low range in deep snow. That's not what it's for and can actually work against you in snow.

Oh ok then yes I think you will be happy with that change then. You should notice a difference for sure.

Most fun I've had driving int he snow in a while

What do you mean by tighter? The 18's with that tall of a sidewall will not tighten up neither the ride or steering it will actually do the opposite. It will take away more of what little feel there is to begin with. It will ride softer but not tighter. That is, assuming we have the same...

Most fun I've had driving int he snow in a while

Oh sorry for the confusion. The Duratracs are the tires I run year around on my Jeep Wrangler. For my 2015 LR4 I'm waiting to take delivery of, I'm going with the Yoko's for winter. I'm doing that because the stock conti's on my current 2012 LR4 performed horribly in the snow and I don't...

Most fun I've had driving int he snow in a while

No problem. And do you mean the Yoko's? I will be running them this winter yes. I just haven't gotten my new truck yet. It was supposed to be in last week. Go figure lol. I hated the factory conti's on my 2012 LR4 in the snow. Downright dangerous! So I decided to address that with my new one.

Most fun I've had driving int he snow in a while

I run Duratracs on my wrangler year around and I couldn't be happier. An absolutely fantastic tire. It does everything very well. Great in the snow, mud and grass. High grip in the rain, no fear of hydroplaning and despite the aggressive look of the tread pattern, they are really quite on the...

Correct. I was including my Jeep as another example. I feel like that has pretty much become the norm these days across the board.

    Winter/Snow Tire Conundrum

Good choice. You'll be happy you stayed away from them for winter duty. My new truck gets here soon and I'll be putting a set of these on right away. They are great performers and half the price of blizzacks. They do make a 255/55R19 for your wheels...

    Disabling 2014 ECO Switch

Yes I think a lot of it is legal stuff. I have a 2013 Rubicon as well and like many cars I've noticed, turning the traction control off doesn't actually turn it all the way off. It only adjust the limits at which it steps in. Very very annoying when trying to make way through slippery stuff like...

    Winter/Snow Tire Conundrum

For what it's worth, the stock Conti's are some of the worst tires I've ever driven on in snow. They are beyond laughable to the point where it can be dangerous. Couldn't believe it really. So if I were you, whatever you choose I'd make sure that they aren't part of your plan if driving in snow...

    Disabling 2014 ECO Switch

No, you just took it to a different level. One that isn't necessary. Just keep it simple. Give the button memory. That way, everyone gets what they want. Turn it off and it stays off. Or leave it on if you like. Turn it on and off at will too if you so fancy. Just a push of a button. See? Easy.
