    Removing a stuck hitch receiver?

    I had the same problem once. Referred to the manual about the position of the lock. Next , I gave it a good rap on the side with a rubber mallet. Voila, it dropped into my hand. No dirt or anything else to bind. I suspect it was just lodged by pressure alone from trailering. Hope this helps...
