Thanks for sharing.
I just downloaded it and tried. I agree that the destination via voice commands is far superior to the native Land Rover voice commands user experience.
The map/nav-screen looks rather monotone, but I'll take the ease of destination inputs over colors.
The only real issue...
Over ~3.75 years of 2011 LR4 ownership we had our battery replaced twice (under warranty both times). Both times we had symptoms similar to what you've described. I ended up buying a jump start battery to keep around for the next time the darn thing needed a jump.
I just purchased a 2016 LR4 and decided to replace all 5 stock CONTINENTAL
4X4 CONTACT 255/55R19 tires.
The spare has 0 miles.
The rest 4 have ~1000 miles.
I'll accept $750 for the set of 5 tires.
I am located in DFW.
Had Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs installed soon after the purchase. We have been on a couple of trips in the last 4 weeks putting on ~3300 miles and both the vehicle and the Duratrac tires have performed very well.
MST>>> I wonder how the dealer didn't see that when they did the inspection before putting it up for sale.
I am a Land Rover admirer but I don't really have too much faith in their service department(s) based on my ownership experience. That is unfortunate. If Land Rover could somehow address...
Jaguardoc504: your signature does not list HD package. Do you have a full size spare? If not, i would highly recommend buying a spare wheel and tire. This is more important than any other recovery equipment.
Cheers!
Thanks Umberto.
No photos yet. But I'll add them soon :)
I'll have to agree with your "marketing dept" hypothesis i.e. offering a V8 in a lowly LR4 as standard equipment, while the mighty RR does not come standard with one. I really don't see any other reason for it.
This might sound a...
Its been a while since my last post/visit here. I just looked up these threads I started years ago when I bought my 2011 LR4:

At highway speeds, in my estimation, the noise is about 20% more. The stock tires are soft and quiet. Coopers have more agressive tread pattern so they have the higher noise.
I have 10K trouble free miles on the continentals and I think I am going to switch back to them, not because I don't...
Must have been someone else, since I just came back yesterday. I did not see any other Land Rovers on the trails. Almost exclusively Jeeps and just a couple of FJ Cruisers mixed in.
Hi everyone
I just returned from a trip to the San Juan Mountains of Colorado with my family. It was great and we love our LR4 even more for taking us to areas that would otherwise be inaccessible to us.
I think most LR4 owners are aware of this but Silverton/Ouray/Telluride area of...
