LR4 Ignition Coil Code Issues
Loose 8mm ground on my engine caused the coil pack drivers on the ECU to fry, had to tighten the ground between the cam position sensors and have my ecu cloned into a working one. -

Aluminum thermostat housing
I have been seeing these aluminum thermostat housings for a few weeks on eBay. I haven't found anyone who's tried them not have heard horror stories of the oem plastic ones failing but I may be wrong there. Are the oem thermostat housings knowing for catastrophically failing/exploding? Is this... -

Pulling injectors for valve cover gasket, can I avoid it?
On an engine stand I was able to rotate the injectors 90° and the valve cover clears them without having to pull them. Whether that means the seal is compromised or not is another issue, probably not as I'd imagine the seal stays put and the injector is the only one moving. Also idk if it... -

Misfire cylinder 8
Had you messed with the engine bay recently? I had a similar issue on my scv6, left a loose ground on the miss fire head, lil 8mm ground by the cam sensors on the front of the head. Ultimately fried my ecu so I had it cloned. If your missfire comes and goes then maybe loose or broken cable/... -

Sun roof drain question
Found water on passenger side foot well a few weeks ago, chased both front drains with a wire and unclogged the passenger side one, driver side was clear. Today at my parents house the rear seats got wet, didn't clear the rear drains so there's that but my question is.... How good are these at... -

Update. Worked on the Rover on my time off, luckily it's a 3rd car. Around Thanksgiving I had it narrowed down to no spark, checked the wiring and the coils and it all checked out good so figured the ECU so I sent it out to get fixed. It came back right after Thanksgiving and it was all the... -

2016 SCV6 Bank 2 misfire
Changed coil packs on 4 and 5 from donor engine and no change, checked sparkplug on 4 and looked ok so while running I started tugging at the harness and noticed a change in idle so I followed the ground and noticed it was loose enough for the ground to wiggle around. Probably why it misfired... -
